Frequently Asked Questions 

1. How to install aHome?

You can download it from Market (see 1.Install aHome from Market). If you purchase aHome through Paypal, follow the instruction guide with the aHome.apk file in email.

2. How to add more screens?

Move to the most right screen you have now. Hold and move any icon to the right edge of the screen, wait for 2 seconds, and you will get a new screen. aHome supports upto 10 screens. You can also see at 6. Add More Screens.

3. How to put icons on screen?

Click Menu, choose "Add" Or long press the screen. See 5. Use add menu to add application, contact or other icons and widgets.

4. How to Clear default?

press Menu key, Setting->Applications->Manage applications find and aHome then click Clear defaults. Then press Home key.

5. How to change theme?

You should download theme first. Then press Menu-> Theme or press Menu -> aHome Settings -> Theme. See 7. Change theme.

6. How to download theme?

Go to Market, and search for key word aHome. Choose the theme you like and install it. Please DON’T launch the theme directly and it cannot be launched. Or you can download free theme in aHome Console by press Menu -> aHome Console -> Theme Downloader.

7. Fail to download aHome.

This problem is caused by Android Market. Make sure your web connection works fine and restart your G1 phone. If the download still doesn't start, your G1 system to the newest version. 

8. How to download widget?

Go to Market, and search for key word aHome. Choose the widget you like and install it. Please DON’T launch the theme directly and it cannot be launched.

9. How to icons/widget?

Long press the icon or widget you want to until the "" button shows up. Release the icon/widget, and then choose . See 3. Move and Rename.
